Tell us a bit about yourself. What do you do for work? Where do you live? A fun fact?

I work Part Time assisting another lady startup called Sarah Urban, I live in Brunswick during the week and on weekends you can find me in Geelong working on Miss Fizz , planning an Event or spending time with my 2 nieces.

What is your creative project / business? Is it full time? Is a side hussle? My business is a Mobile Prosecco Van called Miss Fizz. We specialise in Weddings, Bridal Showers and any other Gathering you can think of! We offer Styling, Grazing and a whole menu dedicated to Spritz's, at the moment it's a side hustle, my goal is to be able to focus on it full time come next year.

How and when did you start your creative project? I had the idea quite a few years back when I was living in Brisbane, I've always wanted to own my own bar and this was my easiest and safest option. I moved back to Victoria in September and decided to just go for it, nothing was holding me back! I made a plan and did something each day to inch myself closer to it.

What are your go creative tools? I have made a lot of connections through Instagram and Collaborated with some amazing local businesses all through Social Media!

How does your creative project make you feel? I'm too creative for the standard 9-5 life, I do respect people that can do it, I just don't get fulfillment out of it. Being able to do what I love is a dream come true and I know the hard work will all be worth it.

Who, What & where inspires you and your work? I draw a lot of my inspiration from, who would of though... instagram! I don't like to copy but It's a great way of keeping up to date with the latest trends and see what's working for other businesses. My family have been really supportive, I wouldn't be able to do it without them also my best friend who I'm moving in with for a while so I can focus on Miss Fizz.

Do you have any podcast, tv shows or book recommendations? I don't watch a lot of TV, I would rather listen to music, although I am looking forward to Season 2 of Big Little Lies. I like to read Biographies about anyone interesting.

Name your fave Instagram accounts? I follow so many Event Stylists and Florists ( I love flowers) I'm obsessed with flowersbybrettmatthewjohn and partywithlenzo. I like to follow and support local businesses, particularly women in business.

Tell us what your average day looks like? It really depends on the day, no 2 days are ever the same. I'm either working from a Coworking space or local Café. I spend a lot of my time on my own, I like to cook and get an early night, very different to my party days!

What’s your favourite thing to do on the weekend when you have no plans? Brunch and Yoga in Melbourne (I love trying new cafes and yoga studios) or spend the day at one of the amazing wineries on the Bellarine Peninsula.

Tell us what is next. What are your plans in life and your creative project. What are you working on now? I'm putting together my first Solstice Event coming up on the 22nd June, I'm hoping to put these on twice a year (Winter & Summer) and make them bigger and better each time. I want to gain more experience in Event Styling and study Business and just better myself in general. My long term goal is to eventually have another larger van so we can be more versatile and be able to be in 2 places at once.
